Abstract
The primary objective of this paper is to investigate the developments and advancements made in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technologies for African languages and problems. The paper addresses the challenges the African continent faces in implementing these technologies. Additionally, the paper proposes a novel concept that combines computer vision, NLP, and TTS to aid visually impaired individuals in Ghana.
